It's time for the Chaos League 3 Tourney!
Please sign up for this tourney by replying with your gamertag and TYPICAL AVAILABILITY.
Signups will be close February 28th and then the chaos will begin!

RULES:
Decks need to meet the random factors that my handy excel sheet generates for each round. The factors are Map, Land Type, TG Goal, Rounds, Timer, Deck Size, Chaos Effects, Card Inclusions and Card Bans. E cards are permitted. If the random effects are not chaotic enough, or are too limiting, I will re-randomize them. If you don't have enough of the stated inclusion cards, please let me know. In the event of a disconnect, players are allowed to play new decks (unless otherwise agreed upon prior to the match). Respect your opponent and have fun!

FORMAT:
The opening round format will be about 5-10 rounds and will last about 1-2 months depending on the number of participants. The playoffs will be between the top performers and two random participants.

WARNING:
If you ignore messages from opponents or drop out early, you may not be allowed to participate in this or other leagues on this site.

So, are the requirements for each Chaos match dictated in advance to give players a chance to construct their decks, or are decks created in the last few minutes before the game starts?

This sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I'm often busy with school, though, so if you can't fit me in with your schedules that's totally OK.

The evenings of the weekends work best for me. I can likely do Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings if I stay on top of my homework. My timezone is Eastern Standard time. My gamer tag is medead2 and it is shared with other members of my family.

PS. Where do you guys get the cool emblems for your avatars? Like the lunatic hare one? Do you get them from competitions? I've always been curious.

Each match's Chaos factors are randomly drawn beforehand and posted here in the forum, to give both players time to develop their decks ahead of time.

No problem on your availability... communication is the key. As long as you stay in touch with your opponents, it'll work out fine. Sign up and you'll have a blast!


The avatar emblems are for site administrators and moderators or site VIPs (people who have helped the community tremendously and/or have donated to the site). They're from the PS2 game.

Alrighty folks considering that the Chaos League will be starting soon I was told to swing by this thread to let you all know that I'm going to run the card farming events so that might help everyone out with getting cards for this league and any other leagues afterwards. Just a quick update for everyone. Sign-ups are closed, and we have 10 players. I'll be working on the pairings and match factors over the next few days. There has been quite a bit going on with my work, the wife, and my four kids lately, but I hope to have something up soon for all shortly.
