The Divisions are at the bottom of this post, but first please review the rules.

GENERAL RULES
All matches will be played with a TG goal of 7,000, 50 card decks, no E cards, random lands and no sudden death. Time and round limits are the defaults (60-second turns, 95 rounds). In the event of a disconnect, players are allowed to play new decks (unless otherwise agreed upon prior to the match). Respect your opponent and have fun.

FIRST ROUND OF PLAY
In the first round, each player will play one-on-one matches against each member of their division twice, once on each player's home map. Players are responsible for arranging their own matches. It's easiest to just send XBL friend requests to everyone in your division and coordinate that way.

TYPICAL AVAILABILITY
During the season, feel free to update me with your availability if it changes. Again, you do not have to be on Xbox live ready and waiting to play during your stated times, but this information should be used as a guideline for arranging matches.

PLAYOFFS
The player with the best record from each division will advance to the playoffs. Two to four additional players will also advance to the playoffs. Tie breaker matches will be held if necessary to fill the playoff bracket (rules to be determined by me depending on the situation).

Each round of the playoffs will be set up as a best-of-three matchup, with one match on each player's home map, plus one match on a random map selected by me. Playoff opponents will be seeded based on the division results, but I will doctor the results so two players from the same division won't face each other until the finals (if possible).

PRIZES
Saga Bowl champion gets a $50 GameStop gift card from Andy. Runner-up gets a $25 GameStop gift card. If Andy finishes first or second, there will be a third-place match for the $25 gift card. If I win a gift card, I will award it at random to a player who completed all of his or her matches.

OTHER RULES
Please note, that if you drop out, you won't be allowed to participate in other leagues on this site. Keep this in mind before you commit to play. Some exceptions to this drop out rule are family emergencies, RROD, etc.

DEADLINE
The deadline to get your first round matches in is by Sunday April 7th. This gives 8 weeks to get your 10 (or 8) matches in.

If there are any questions about the rules, feel free to ask. The rules will be revised and clarified as needed.

Just so I'm clear, I message my division opponents 1 by 1 via live, have 2 matches with each of them, and report in this thread regarding results? Also, what happens in the event of a 1-1 tie?

Just as a heads-up to the folks in my group, I am not really available to play much before Feb. 21. I signed myself to work eight nights in a row starting Wednesday. I'll be free from Feb. 21-23, and then Sundays and Mondays (my originally posted available days) after that.

Last night, I got my two matches in with Redshirt13. We played on Lalasati first, since I wasn't sure what to play on my home map. She played very well and had a pretty tough deck. I had a bit of a slow start, but when a certain card popped up, I was able to execute my plan B and take the win.

We had enough time to play our second match on my home map of Kaningun. Between games we talked about the fact that "random" should really be "shuffle" and that you can switch decks (you don't have to, but you can). We both decided to play something different. I ran a deck I hadn't played in a while, so I had to check out the cards real quick to refresh myself of the contents and strategy of it. This game my deck rolled a bit faster (although I wished I had added a couple more of one card). I managed to chain, level and invest in the right symbols and got the win.

It was good playing with you Redshirt13, and a bunch of fun for sure! Hit me up if you are looking for a game. I wish you good luck in your future matches.

Just a heads up to my division opponents, I need to renew my gold subscription so I'll be available in a few days to start my matches. Best of luck everyone!

Division 1: If anyone wants to play any of our matches tonight, let me know. I'll be free around 9:00-10pm PST so it would be like 11-12 for CST or EST I believe. If not, I'll be free to play any time in the morning until about 2pm. I also sent everyone in my division a friend request.

Tomorrow I can play 9am till 3pm est...

RedShirt13 and I played both of our matches tonight. The first match on X was very scary for me, but I ended up getting a fast lead and holding on to win. The second match was incredibly close on Lalasati. We both finished the game at or above 7000 TG but I just managed to make it to the castle first.
