xrandallxflagg and I played against each other in rounds 3 and 4.

We played round 4 first on Miniature Garden. The beginning of the match started out fairly close, but I pulled ahead as I used a combination of immediate creatures, Sakuya, and symbols to win the match. (As I forgot to note the final scores and such, I'm guessing) In round 35-ish of this match I won with a lead of about 6800 to 2000. On my next to last lap, we thought I was going to pass the goal of 6000, but I wound up just 75G short and had to re-circle the map in order to actually pass the goal.

The second match we played was on Belizalberg and was our AI Deck match (using no enchants). I chose Meltia's "Hades" deck, and xrandallxflagg chose Dirham's "Bodyguard" deck (which I somehow missed as an option despite looking through all the decks carefully...stupid cold). Anyway, this deck turned out to be really interesting as I had no options for spells while xrandallxflagg did. He started off the match with a lucky draw of fairy light. He then popped up to the symbol area and started off the symbol war. After the first lap, neither of us really touched the symbols (both having bought mostly green to go with my deck and a few blue to go with his). Before reaching both towers, xrandallxflagg accidentally went over the castle (not realizing it would cancel out his fairy light mid-lap) and lost his fairy light. When he got fairy light back a couple laps later, I drew hypno sloth shortly after and canceled out his enchant after only about 2 turns. I think the main deciding factor was that I had purchased about 60 green symbols whereas he had only purchased about 25 green symbols. Therefore, when I levelled my lands up, it was much more beneficial to my TG. Final score was me with 12733 and xrandallxflagg with 5704 in round 43.

Overall, I think we had some pretty fun matches. Thanks for a good couple games xrandallxflagg

Still waiting on a response from Vokrug for our matches. Do we have to go in round order?

xGangstaCrizzab and I played on Provedin to 4000 TG for our Round 1 match. On top of using no items, we also could only use enchant spells in this round.

This unsuprisingly wound up being somewhat of a game of enchanting each other at the right times. Lots of movement control and other enchants going back and forth to one another. The warp pads also proved an interesting challenge as they made our laps take much longer than they should have in addition to the movement control. It started out as a close match between the two of us until the idols came out. Using his Peluda to slowly kill off all my creatures (as I had no red cards in my deck). Using land protection, he protected his Peluda from my paralyzer. Once I got a bandit down next to his Peluda, that quickly became a non-option for xGangstaCrizzab. He used silence against me and then used telegnosis to allow himself to attack my bandit the next turn, however, I was able to cast triumph on myself before he attacked me and arm my bandit with a tyrannosaurus. This caused him to have to sell off his lands. Just before the end of the match, he landed on a level 4 dryad and had to sell off his leveled up Cait Sith and his magic become exhausted. I hit the castle and was just 5 shy of the goal of 4000. Going back around another loop, I leveled up a bandit to the sky and sold it off with tokebi (just in case he had some way to kill off the bandit). When hit the castle to win the match with a final score of 5526 to 330 in round 46.

Good match xGangstaCrizzab :D

Andy taught me a lesson about being a freshman (or something like that) with a 5000-2000 rout of me.

Learned quite a bit about deck building and game mechanics that matter in multiplayer though. It had been hard to find a game online for me so I didn't expect too much success in my first round. My deck wanted to do too many different things (succeeding in none of them) and Andy kept me low on magic up until the final couple rounds when I made a small surge to make the score look a little less embarrassing.

Good game and good luck the rest of the way.

You had a similar idea to what I did and wow, if I hadn't prepared for Goblin's Lair and Spartoi, I'd have been in deep trouble, no question. I thought you did really well, considering how new you are to the online game. Good luck in the rest of your Chaos matches!

In our AI match I defeated SylentSavage 8000-2000.

He had me on the ropes early as the Mirage/Simulacrum took out a pretty big chunk of my cash, followed by a Word of Recall when I had 0g on hand. I managed to come back a lot faster than either of us expected and then a couple huge tolls swung the game wide open towards the end.

Beena and I played our round 2 match on Eusia tonight. Spinning card of doom got us the first try, and that's a bummer because that match was shaping up to be really intriguing - Beena's Hive swarm vs. my Land Transfer keepaway approach.

Unfortunately for Beena, in the retry, nearly all her creatures were shuffled in the last half of her deck. By the time she got the mob growing, I was well off and running. Still, her sheer strength meant I had to barricade myself on one of the islands and stay there pretty much all match long. If she'd managed to come visit me, I'd have been in very serious trouble. Fortunately for me, that didn't happen, and I managed to Word of Recall myself home for the victory after some profitable real estate deals.

Very good game, Beena... good luck in your last match before the playoffs!

Definitely a great match Andyman. Our first match was pretty close before we got the evil spinning card (only a few hundred between his score and my score). I would have been very interested to see how that match turned out (especially since I wound up with such ucky draws in the second try...seriously, how many times can i use prophecy to get a creature and get a hive worker instead of a hive queen). In the end, Andy finally creamed me with 12100 to 1942 in round 41. Turned out to be a couple exciting matches though.

Overall, I had a great time during our games Andy. Good luck in your other matches also!

In our match between marsupial and myself, marsupial came out on top. I had an excellent first 5 or so rounds, attacking his Mirage with my tengu with storm spear, depleting his magic and clearing out any form of a start he had. To top it off i sent him to the castle with a word of recal right before he was going to collect his reward. So he had to make full circle before he could get any money at all. Well by the time he got back to the castle he managed to kill my other tengu before i could kill his nike and he managed a great comeback from such a rough start. A lot did not go well for me after that, and he started chaining very quickly. Great game marsupial.

Great job with matches people. Unfortunately, some of us have yet to complete any or have remained unavailable. Let's get this ball rolling. I'm setting a deadline of April 1st to complete at least one match otherwise I'll start looking for alternates.

Derceto7 and I played our round 3 match on Omengald tonight and I came away with the win. We had literally exactly the same idea, same deck (Meltia's "Hades"), and the same strategy. I managed to put 2 Spudfolks down very quickly, and they proved to be the difference. Because we were both using the same deck - and both had 4x Earth Shield and 2x Magma Armor vs. all Earth creatures - successfully invading anything was a real challenge. Derceto7 tried like mad to kill the Spudfolk I had on the inner area, but I managed to hold him off. Nothing else mattered for me. Just hit up Spud often, and avoid the completely nasty trap Derceto7 had setup near the N fort. It worked out, but I bet if we played this same match 10 times, we'd each win 5x and lose 5x. Lucky me.

Jasoya and I played our "half-match" on Illusia (half-match being because it was only 4000tg :D ). We both had very similar decks probably spawned from the forced inclusion of goblin -- seeing that both of us said what the heck let's just do gobo. The only difference was I played pure neutral with movement control and Jasoya went gobo/earth. I drew Lair first and protected it with anti-magic leading to a decent start on my end. Jasoya kept pace and we had the land completely flooded, but in Illusia's ways we never had a real battle. My movement control idea paid pivotal means as I forced him onto the warp a few times and managed to lap faster because of it securing me the extremely close 4100-3300 match.

Great game Jasoya, good luck the rest of the way :)

Derceto VS Whooh05 on Altar of Light

Derceto came out swinging with ants. I came in with an idol deck. An early Marble pretty much locked his deck out for the majority of the match. He had a nice stretch of nastiness next to the castle, but Trade made that territory mine. Good game, Derceto. Good luck in your other matches.

Derceto7-3266

Interestingly enough, no symbols were harmed in the duration of this match.

great match jasoya!

We started off and got some way thru and i realized jasoya had cards with E in it. We ended up playing that thru and he got a spinning card with 5 rounds left and the score was 8k to around 750 my lead. We had decided when I realized his mistake that it would not count and was just for fun - bad decision for me lol.

The next match an hour or so later I kept the same deck with a few modifications. It was tight in the beginning and then jasoya pulled ahead. I made a crucial mistake thinking that my rat hunter would convert his chairon when it attacked first irregardless of whether it survived. Had I chosen my other card instead of the bandit it would have survived and done it. This land proved to be the difference in the end with jasoya winning by about 1500 or so (64xx to 49xx) or so. Great and fun match!

Won my match with xrandallxflagg we both used similar decks so it was a close match I was leading the match most of the time with an over couple thousand g lead until the last turn I lost about 1056g in a toll which he tried to do a Hail Mary and take some more gold away with a spell and transform his level 4 neutral land to make a two chain with his level 5 but only brought him within only about a 1,000g. Good game Randall good luck to your other matches.

xSINxCITYxAPOCx VS Whooh05

Winner: Whooh05

We had a few complications with our first match. After working thru that, we rematched and the dice pretty much hated Sin the entire time. Good game, Sin.

Something to note for the play offs. In order to be qualified as a potential Wild Card, all matches must be completed to the best of your ability. Less than two weeks left before April, Vokrug. Please, get a match in or you're out.

Play offs will be 4 top scores with 2 Wild Cards.
