RESULTS
All results are to be reported in the forum under this results thread. As results come in, I'll periodically update the standings thread with each player's record. When posting results from your match, it's fair to talk in general terms, e.g., "It was a race to the castle after he landed on my Level 5 land and lost his huge lead." Refrain from specifics, e.g., "I had no answer for his Goblin’s Lair and Red Caps."

DROPPING OUT
Please stand by your initial commitment and don't drop out. If you do drop out, you won't be allowed to participate in other leagues on this site. Some exceptions to this rule are family emergencies, RROD, etc. If you find you can't play your matches, and simply must drop out just let me know and I'll try to find someone to take your place.

Warning up front - If you are non-responsive to messages from me regarding unplayed Saga Bowl matches, I will just assume you are not interested in playing and will replace you with an alternate.

GENERAL RULES
All matches will be played with a TG goal of 7,000, 50 card decks, no E cards, random lands and no sudden death. Time and round limits are the defaults (60-second turns, 95 rounds). In the event of a disconnect, players are allowed to play new decks (unless otherwise agreed upon prior to the match). Respect your opponent and have fun.

FIRST ROUND OF PLAY
In the first round, each player will play one-on-one matches against each member of their group twice, once on each player's home map. Players are responsible for arranging their own matches. It's easiest to just send XBL friend requests to everyone in your group and coordinate that way.

PLAYOFFS
The player with the best record from each group will advance to the playoffs. Two more playoff spots will be given to the players with the top records. Tie breaker matches will be held if necessary to fill the playoff bracket (rules to be determined by me depending on the situation).

Each round of the playoffs will be set up as a best-of-three matchup, with one match on each player's home map, plus one match on a random map selected by me. Playoff opponents will be seeded based on results from the first round, but I will doctor the results so two players from the same division won't face each other until the finals.

PRIZES
Saga Bowl champion gets a $50 GameStop gift card from Andy. Runner-up gets a $25 gift card. If Andy finishes first or second, there will be a third-place match for the $25 card. If I win a card, I will award it at random to a player who completed all of his or her matches.

If there are any questions about the rules, feel free to ask. The rules will be revised and clarified as needed.

Typical (and specific) Availability post updated. It is the second post in this thread, right under the divisions.

Please let me know if your typical availability is different now, and I'll update that post.

Take a good look at the people's typical schedules in your division - if you see someone who is typically not available the same time you are, please work a little harder to get those matches scheduled.

MadPimp007 now has his home map as Zanador. This was the map he originally requested to have. Should not be a problem, since no matches have been played yet.

Second Coming and I played our first match tonight on my home map, Basisk. It was a tug-of-war until SC had a very unfortunate roll that landed him on a monster toll with me 1 space from the castle. The toll put me over the 7k goal, and I walked forward a step and won. Good game, SC... I look forward to playing you on your map.

Very good match I enjoyed it. I will have to capitalize being on my home territory next time.

Willben20 and I played our first match on Basisk today. I managed to win, but it was a tough battle the whole way. Good game, Will!

Will and I played our second match on his map, Phoenixion, and I managed to win this one too. I was very close up until about 1/3 of the way into the match, when 2 bad rolls forced Will to detour and make very long laps... those just about killed him. Again, very good game, Will. I enjoyed them both very much, and I hope you did too.

YO and I played both our matches tonight... He totally surprised me with his home map deck but I JUST managed to squeek through thanks to an accidental hit of the A button that threw him onto one of my leveled up land

On my home map he scared me at first but my deck finally settled in and took the pilots seat and I managed to neutralize his deck.

Willben20 and I played on Mt. Phoenixion tonight and I managed to get the victory. I figured going into the match that he was going to bring a good deck and take the victory. He brought a great deck, but fell short. I played a version of a Whooh's deck BoGreed (although I just counted and only 23 of the 50 cards matched). I guess my version is quite a bit different, but it's the same concept. The key to the win was actually using the HW's that I had in my deck on myself, so that I could take the dirty teleporter shortcut on EACH of my first three laps. So not fair. Good Game Will, and I look forward to you getting some revenge on my home map!

I updated my availability since my hockey league on Sunday is over.

I won my two matches with Undisputed. The first match I had some control over him but it was close a simple bad roll could have changed things into his favor. As for the second match I had complete control after about 25 rounds and a bad roll on his part pretty much ended all hope of winning even so he did fought well and had me worried till the end. GG Undisputed good luck with the rest of your matches.

If you are wondering why Whooh05 is left off - well I've heard from him in the #culdceptcentral chat room.

Trechobezor is out - he sent me an xbox live dropping out of the tourney. I will be looking for an alternate to take his spot, but if I can't find one, the division will drop to 4 players.

I think I can get the matches in by then Maxx. I should be able to go on Live more starting tomorrow night as my schedule should start freeing up.
