GameFAQs Gamer Review - Murtagh (9/10)

This Game Rocks!

First off, I just want to say that this game is one of the best games I've ever played. I love the gameplay and the way the game flows. I also love the way the rules are made in the game.

The game is like a combination of Monopoly and Magic: The Gathering. You have to take control of land by summoning monsters to protect it. When You want to take control of another land you have to attack it by summoning a monster, that monster will then fight for the land against the monster that is defending it. You game something called G ( magic points ) that is like a currency in a battle. The goal in battle is to get a set amount of G so you can win the game. You can also spend it on spells, monster, and items. This game is quite creative.

Graphics: 7/10, the graphics are nothing to shout about, but are sufficient to keep you going through the game. The graphics in games like these really don't matter. You need more gameplay and strategy than eye-candy.

Gameplay: 10/10, the game play is awesome! I could play this game for hours on end and still want to play more! The controls are absolutely genius and the thought put into the rules and the possibilities of moves are amazing! I am truly in love with the gameplay. Trust me, you will agree with me if you like this genre of games.

Sound: 9/10, the sounds are also brilliant and the sound effects fit each part of the game. The only bad thing about the sound in my opinion is that it gets a bit repetitive after awhile. Still, the sound is great.

Music: 10/10, the tunes awestruck me. They were fitting to all the situations and battles. They do not get repetitive and are always kept fresh by playing different ones all the time. I think the people who wrote and played the tunes are purely talented.

Replayability: 10/10, the replayability is infinite if you like the game. There are over 480 cards to collect and even when you have 100% beaten the game you can always go back and play again for fun.

Overall I think anyone would like it, even if you don't like this type of game!
